Podcast

Below you will find the Podcast that my daughter, Abby, and I created together. We had a ton of fun creating it and I could not believe how easy both programs were to use. I have used Audacity in my classroom to simply record a student's fluency but had never tried to edit with the program. Audacity is simple enough that I could teach some of my students to use it and they could create presentations using it. This would especially be helpful for some of my shy students who may prefer this over speaking in front of the group. Enjoy!

    Good work on the podcast! I thought the sound quality was very clear during both the speaking and the singing. Clever idea to use your daughter's love of singing. I am still trying to decide upon my content.

    Oh my goodness! This was so cute! I think this was a great way to make use of your podcast! And I definitely agree with you that this would work well for students who have difficulty speaking in front of the class, that's a great idea! Anyways, how did your daughter like her singing?

    Abby LOVED her singing, and is ready to record on video now...that way she can add the hand motions that go with the songs!!
